PGA Director of Instruction Tim Parsons has over 12 years of swing instruction and coaching experience. After playing competitively Tim made the move from playing professional to club professional and discovered his passion for teaching and coaching. He has helped students at every level from beginner to professional reach and surpass their golfing goals. Jim Colliflower, PGA

Jim is a PGA Professional with over 17 years of experience.  In addition to teaching at Scarlett Golf Experience, Jim also works at Coeur D’ Alene Golf Club and has been at CDA Public for 9 years as a professional and golf instructor.  Jim’s career started in Sacramento,
California at the famed Haggin Oaks Golf Course.

Kathy Jensen, PGA | 2014 PGA Teacher of the Year

We are honored to have Kathy Jenson, 2014 Teacher of the Year at Scarlett Golf Experience.  Kathy is the first women to ever receive this award and is part of an elite group of teachers including Harvy Pennick, Michael Breed and Sean Foley to name a few.  

 Kathy became a PGA & LPGA Club Golf Professional under legendary professional Joe Durgan and has been a PGA Class A Golf Professional since 1990.  Her learning experience includes teaching and club fitting from Randy Henry of Henry-Griffitts and Chuck Hogan. Her clients include Hall of Fame MLB players Dennis Eckersley and Jim Kaat as well as other professional athletes.  Currently, she is the President of the PNW PGA section and the Director of Golf Instruction and Co-Founder of Jensen Lindeblad Impact Golf Academy located at Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane, WA.

 Kathy teaches juniors of any age, High School and College students, and provides private and group instruction.  She strives to make every lesson “Your Own Unique Golf Experience” and her philosophy is to personalize golf instruction for an individual’s balanced swing tendencies which is observed through video analysis.  Kathy’s students are even more rewarded through properly fitted equipment which can assist with solid ball contact resulting in lower scores.

 Kathy’s communication skills and tools include Video Analysis, Club Fitting, Swing Motion, Physical Abilities, Teaching Aids, even the “Rules of Golf”.  Not only will you learn to hit quality shots you will learn to play the game creatively and develop a mindset to cope with the intangible elements of weather, terrain and pressure situations.
